From our field to your pet

Calmuu was created on a small, family-run European farm and is rooted in a very personal experience. As caregivers to Loti, our Bernese Mountain dog with a sensitive and timid nature, we began looking for natural, non-invasive ways to support calm moments in everyday situations.

Rather than relying on shortcuts, we focused on careful observation, research, and simple daily rituals. This approach naturally led us to work with catnip, a plant we now grow ourselves.

Calmuu catnip is planted, grown, and harvested on our pesticide-free fields. We harvest the plants by hand on sunny days, when the leaves and blossoms are naturally rich in essential oils. They are then slowly air-dried to preserve their aroma and natural potency.

We use only the leaves and blossoms, never the woody stems, ensuring a clean, effective blend with no unnecessary parts. This careful process reflects our broader philosophy: clear ingredients, thoughtful handling, and respect for animals at every step.
